Night on the town is a cultural and recreational exhibition organised by Aranda de Duero Town Council in which, for a few hours, all kinds of shows take place for a whole day and free of charge, where different cultural offers are concentrated to the delight of an expectant public who, during the day and especially at night, go through the streets of the historic centre of the town attending the proposals that most interest them.
This project brings together the initiatives of different departments of Aranda Town Council, such as: vermouth concerts, exhibitions and workshops, concerts at night, candles that decorate the streets and main bridges creating images of great beauty that can be photographed for posterity, as well as fire shows, artistic interventions and installations, guided tours and much more.
It will take place on 18 May 2022 where most of the shows will focus on the world of vines and wine: tastings, exhibitions, monologues, parades, performances…, so that, between all of them, this will be a rounded night.
Another great protagonist of the night on the town is the opening during the whole day of the main museums of the town of Aranda de Duero, such as:
The ceramic’s museum, the “Sacred Museum” in the church of San Juan, the museum of the “Casa de las Bolas”, the traditional “Museum of the Game and the “CIAVIN” (Centre of Interpretation of the Architecture of Wine) and the winery-museum of “Las Ánimas”; the latter two related to the world of wine.
The Night on the town brings hundreds of locals to the streets and attracts many others from the region who take advantage of this opportunity not only to enjoy the attractive and great cultural offer but also to go to the local bars where they can spend a pleasant time.
